Preserving Community Heritage
Set up in 2016 by the current Trustees and still run by them we are preserving and restoring a neglected, heritage walled kitchen garden & 22 adjoining acres off Moor Hill in Hawkhurst, West Kent.
Protecting our natural environment for everyone to enjoy
After spending 3 years researching, collaborating, consulting, volunteering and engaging with diverse communities throughout Rother, Hastings & West Kent and taking into account current themes important to these communities, we now recognise the current threat to our natural landscape and community heritage and how, through neglect, degradation and the passing of time, physical and historical assets are disappearing forever causing a lasting impact.
We are eternally grateful to our Funders and Supporters
We currently rely on help and funding from Trusts, Foundations, local businesses and Volunteers within our community - we could not continue without this vital support.
OUR STEERING COMMITTEE
We are currently developing a Steering Committee made up of local experts and regional stakeholders who have a genuine interest in using nature-based projects to improve lives as well as well as supporting the preservation of the natural environment and our regional heritage.
