DESCRIPTION:What is foraging?\n\nForaging is simply gathering weeds and wil
 d berries\, nuts or mushrooms to eat! Foraging fosters a deep connection w
 ith the natural world allowing you to experience the thrill of finding and
  harvesting your own food whilst reconnecting with your ancestral roots an
 d embracing sustainable food practices.\n\nWhat will we learn?\n\nWe are g
 oing to learn to identify a few safe and tasty wild growing plants. We wil
 l harvest a few of each and then either eat them raw or cook them up into 
 a tasty soup to eat together.\n\nYou will:\n\n 	Learn how to identify edib
 le plants growing here and now by exploring the land and woodland\n 	Harve
 st a selection of whatever is available on the day\n 	Complete a mini chal
 lenge\n 	Learn how to prepare and cook a foraged soup - or eat your harves
 t raw.\n\nWorkshop details\n\nAge group: 5 - 16 years\n\nAll children must
  be accompanied by their parents/guardian.\n\nGrow\, Cook\, Share\, Care i
 s a Hands of Hope programme engaging vulnerable groups\, those with comple
 x needs\, families\, especially those living in food poverty\, and older p
 eople\, in learning\, wellness and social activities aligned to growing\, 
 cooking\, and nature.\n\nPriority for these spaces will be given to people
  meeting the above criteria.\n\nThere is no charge for this workshop\, don
