DESCRIPTION:Seed sowing \n\nSowing seeds is important as it fosters a conn
 ection to nature\, promotes understanding of where food comes from\, and d
 evelops valuable life skills like patience\, responsibility\, and fine mot
 or skills. With the bonus of encouraging healthy eating habits and watchin
 g flowers come to life from a teeny\, tiny seed.\n\nWhat will we learn?\n\
 nWe will be learning how flowers and vegetables grow with hands-on experie
 nce\, from sowing to planting\, caring for and harvesting flowers and prod
 uce in our beautiful cut flower and walled gardens.\n\nYou will:\n\n 	Lear
 n how to choose seeds\, pots and compost and learn how seeds grow into som
 ething much bigger\n 	Have a tour of our flower garden and walled garden\,
  maybe even pick a flower or two\n 	Craft your very own flower crown or wa
 nd\n 	Create a nature collage with leaves\, petals and twigs you find arou
 nd the gardens\n\nWorkshop Details\n\nAge group: 6 - 12 years\n\nChildren 
 must be accompanied by their parents/guardian. \n\nGrow\, Cook\, Share\, 
 Care is a Hands of Hope programme engaging vulnerable groups\, those with 
 complex needs\, families\, especially those living in food poverty\, and o
 lder people\, in learning\, wellness and social activities aligned to grow
 ing\, cooking\, and nature.\n\nPriority for these spaces will be given to 
 people meeting the above criteria.\n\nThere is no charge for this workshop
