 ng foraging and cooking workshop where you'll learn to safely identify and
  harvest wild edibles from our hedgerows\, then transform them into delici
 ous\, nutritious dishes in our cookery school. This hands-on session combi
 nes outdoor foraging with practical cooking skills—perfect for anyone cu
 rious about wild food and seasonal eating!\nCompletely free\, and you'll t
 aste (and take home) everything you make.\n\n\n\nWhat you'll do\nSpring is
  the perfect time to discover wild food growing all around us. In this wor
 kshop\, you'll head outdoors to forage for wild garlic and nettles on our 
 farm\, then come into the warmth of our cookery school to turn your finds 
 into three delicious dishes: hearty nettle soup\, wild garlic and cheese s
 cones\, and luxurious wild garlic butter.\nYour foraging and cooking journ

 through exactly what we're looking for\, how to identify it with 100% cert
 ainty\, and what we'll be making. Safety first—you'll never forage somet
 hing unless you're absolutely sure what it is!\n🌱 Foraging Walk Head ou
 t onto our beautiful farm to harvest fresh wild garlic and nettles. Learn 
 about:\n\n\n 	Safe plant identification (being 100% certain is crucial!)\n
  	Sustainable harvesting practices (taking without damaging)\n 	The incred
 ible nutrition in these wild plants\n 	Where and when to find them\n 	Whic
 h parts to harvest and which to leave\n\n🍲 Nettle Soup Back in the cook
 ery school\, we'll wash your foraged nettles and wild garlic\, then prepar
 e a warming\, nutritious nettle soup. Discover how to handle nettles safel
 y\, extract maximum flavour\, and create a vibrant green soup that's far s
 uperior to anything shop-bought!\n🧀 Wild Garlic &amp\; Cheese Scones  
 Learn to make fluffy\, savoury scones studded with wild garlic and cheese.
  These are absolute showstoppers—perfect with soup\, delicious on their 
 own\, and brilliant to impress friends and family. You'll master scone-mak
 ing technique while the wild garlic adds that special seasonal touch.\n
 🧈 Wild Garlic Butter (While scones cool) The perfect finishing touch! F
 inely chop your foraged wild garlic and beat it into butter to create a lu
 xurious compound butter. Incredible on the warm scones\, brilliant on toas
 t\, gorgeous with vegetables—this is spring in a butter dish!\n😋 Tast
 ing Finally\, sit down together to enjoy the fruits of your foraging and c

 shop (10am - 12pm)\n 	Guided foraging walk on our farm\n 	Expert instructi
 on on plant identification and safety\n 	All additional ingredients provid
 ed (butter\, cheese\, stock\, etc.)\n 	Hands-on cooking in our professiona
 l cookery school\n 	Recipe cards for all three dishes to take home\n 	Tast

 , Cook\, Share\, Care is a Hands of Hope programme engaging vulnerable gro
 ups\, those with complex needs\, families\, especially those living in foo
 d poverty\, and older people\, in learning\, wellness and social activitie
 s aligned to growing\, cooking\, and nature.\n\nSuitable for all. Priority
  for spaces will be given to people meeting the criteria: aged over 50\, y
 oung carers and young adults with learning disabilities.\n\nThere is no ch
 arge for this workshop\, donations are always welcome!\n\nPlease ensure yo
 u arrive ten minutes before the start time to ensure we can get everyone r
 egistered\, and please bring a container to take your home your goodies an
 d rubber gloves for picking the nettles!\n\nEach participant must book ind
 ividually so we can monitor eligibility and ensure we're fully prepared fo
