We are excited to announce that Rachael Wood joins Hands of Hope today as General Manager. Rachael previously worked as CEO for a small charity combating isolation and loneliness in older people and has a long career in international development and marketing. Rachael is a keen runner and cyclist, with a huge passion for healthy living and nutrition. ‘With social isolation and childhood obesity being some of the largest issues facing UK society, I am delighted to join this exciting new charity, set up specifically to tackle these 2 issues.’ It is an exciting time for Hands of Hope, as we start work creating a new community space at our newly acquired Hawkhurst site.
