Hands of Hope is a Community based charity which uses Growing and Cooking to bring the Community together to help Tackle Loneliness and Childhood obesity.
To create a sense of Community you need to be a Community that cares and we hope that those that CAN help will help.
Like many small charities, Hands of Hope relies on both the time and money that local people and companies can give to support our work. We are grateful for any form of support.
We are currently raising funds for The “walled garden” site in Hawkhurst, Kent, will be developed in the next 18 months and will be used to establish a range of social enterprise services and initiatives that will serve the communities we support as well as acting as an income generator for the core charity. Local people and in particular, families, young children and the elderly, will have access to healthy, sustainable and affordable food, as well as learning how to grow and cook it.
