What you’ll learn

This engaging classroom session uses informative slideshows and group discussion to explore companion planting. Bring a notepad and pen—you’ll be creating your own planting plans!

The group discussion is a highlight, hearing what’s worked for other local gardeners is invaluable! Whether you’ve tried companion planting before or it’s completely new to you, you’ll leave with practical knowledge and a clear plan. All while enjoying tea, biscuits, and good gardening conversation.

Please bring: Notepad and pen for creating your planting plans and noting plant combinations. We’ll have paper available if you forget!

Workshop details

Grow, Cook, Share, Care is a Hands of Hope programme engaging vulnerable groups, those with complex needs, families, especially those living in food poverty, and older people, in learning, wellness and social activities aligned to growing, cooking, and nature. Suitable for all. Priority for spaces will be given to people meeting the criteria: aged over 50, young carers and young adults with learning disabilities.There is no charge for this workshop, donations are always welcome!Please ensure you arrive ten minutes before the start time to ensure we can get everyone registered. You will need to do one booking per person please so we know who will be attending.
