Your butter and bread-making journey:
🧈 Making butter and buttermilk Start by transforming cream into beautiful, fresh butter through the simple magic of churning. Watch as cream thickens, separates, and becomes golden butter right before your eyes! You’ll also discover how to make buttermilk in different ways—that tangy, valuable ingredient that’s essential for the best soda bread.
🌿 Flavouring your butter Learn to create flavoured compound butters using herbs, spices, or other additions. Take your plain butter from simple to special with creative flavourings you can adapt at home!
🍞 Baking soda bread Use the buttermilk you’ve created to make traditional Irish soda bread—no yeast, no proving time, just mix and bake! Discover how simple bread-making can be when you use this quick, reliable method. We’ll discuss different flavourings and variations so you can make it your own.
☕ Tasting and taking home Taste and compare your creations together. Share what you’ve learned, ask questions, and enjoy the satisfaction of tasting bread and butter you’ve made with your own hands.
