Hands of Hope is looking for Freelance Community Workshop Leaders to design and deliver engaging, inclusive workshops for adults, children and families, especially those living with food poverty, physical and mental health conditions, unemployment and social isolation. Our sessions focus on creativity, wellbeing, practical skills and connection to nature, and we’re keen to work with people who love sharing their knowledge in a supportive, community-centred environment to foster happier, healthier communities.
About the role
You’ll plan and lead workshops that may include (but aren’t limited to):

Forest school, foraging and outdoor learning

Cookery and food-based sessions
-
Creative and craft workshops
-
Gardening and growing
-
Practical life skills and wellbeing activities
Workshops may be one-off sessions or part of a short programme, depending on your availability and interests.
Who we’re looking for
We’re keen to hear from people who:

Have experience leading workshops with adults and/or children
-
Are confident creating inclusive, engaging sessions for mixed abilities
-
Can plan sessions independently and deliver them with warmth and clarity
-
Share our values around community, wellbeing and accessibility
-
Hold relevant qualifications or experience in their field (desirable)
You don’t need to do everything. We welcome specialists as well as people with a broad skill set.
