📺 Did You Spot Us on BBC Politics South East? 📺
We were thrilled to feature on last weekend’s Politics South East discussing an important question: “Are charities asking too much of their volunteers?”
The film crew spent time in our Cookery School and with the Shedders, who who come in every week to learn heritage woodworking skills, chat, and work on personal and on-site repairs. They also chatted with James Doran, our founder and trustee who is very passionate about continuing to provide services into our local community.Â
Volunteering is a topic close to our hearts here at Hands of Hope. Our amazing volunteers are the backbone of everything we do, from our workshops and events to our gardens and community activities. We couldn’t do any of it without their generosity, time, and energy!Â
