The Versatile radish cookery workshop
Think radishes are just for sprinkling on a salad? Think again! Join us for a morning of discovery in our Victorian Walled Garden as we showcase this overlooked spring gem in a way that will truly root you to the spot.
The experience: A wonderful way to spend a June morning, harvesting ingredients straight from the earth to share a unique meal with new friends. We will be using the whole plant—both the crisp radish and the vibrant green leaves—to create a flavourful bowl of spring goodness.
On the menu:
- Radish Leaf Soup with Caraway: A silky, peppery, and surprisingly deep-flavoured soup.
- Handmade Flatbreads: Warm, rustic, and perfect for dipping.
Afterward, we’ll eat together overlooking the beauty of the High Weald AONB, and as always, we’ll provide containers so you can take a portion of your “radishing” creation home!
Small groups of up to 8 participants, perfect for learning and sharing and making new friends.
